The D. E. Spencer & Sons (UK) Ltd drainage service offers complete drainage solutions. Our Tracked Gravel Cart enables stone to be laid in trenches in almost any conditions, reducing soil structure damage which is ideal with projects such as sports fields and open field drainage.

Having in depth trenching and many years experience enables us to design and install almost any Land Drainage schemes.

These include pipeline remedial drainage, design and installation, farm drainage, horse paddock, sports field drainage, even your back garden.

Installing permeable fill using rubber tracked gravel cart conveying directly into a hopper fitted to the trencher.

The site is a Gas pipeline, on this occasion we designed and installed the drainage over an 82km section of the pipeline.

The trencher here is fitted with a rock chain to cope with the demanding Welsh terrain.

Two Gravel Carts keep the trencher moving, on some pipelines there can be a long haul from where the stone is tipped, normally at a road crossing, to where the works are being carried out.

It’s not always straight forward, a flooded section of pipeline that needs to be drained before any topsoiling can be commenced.

Four days later virtually all of the water was gone.
